A healthy half mile walk down to the beaches of Manchester will be rewarded by a spectacular view across  Puget Sound of downtown Seattle and Mt Rainier.   Seattle and Vashon Island are just a short ferry ride away.  The Peninsula is a wonderful place for bicycling and bird watching and golfing.  Head south to Tacoma or north to the Olympic Peninsula for a wonderful day trip or the ferry to Victoria, Canada.
